Giant nature in London

Photobucket Photobucket
I got so over excited when I saw this giant bird on a wall when on Brick Lane a few weeks ago. Roa is a graffiti artist from Belgium, who I have been meaning to blog about for a while now, after coming across his blog. The scale and detail of his illustrations are amazing!

When but I also found this giant fox sitting on top of the Hayward Gallery, I thought I may as well include them both together! The straw fox is part of the Festival of Britain 60th anniversary celebrations. Photobucket Photobucket
Apparently there is a giant rabbit around the Covent Garden area too. With that and all of Roa's different animals scattered over the city I could spend a day going on a giant animal hunt...if only I had the time!

Mini Di

It was my birthday a couple of weeks ago, and my best present by far was a Diana Mini! The packaging she came in was amazing in itself, with a cute little book full of Lomography inspiration. I popped in my first film and snapped away at my birthday celebrations. However this analogue photography business needs practice, as I found out when the film was developed. I guess it didn't help that I was using the wrong film...

PhotobucketBut anyway I was proud of my first Diana photos, even if they were blurry and dark. So I made them into a little concertina book.
I've started my next film, this time taking photos outside, experimenting with different settings and using a tripod, second time lucky?! Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket

AWOL

Sorry I have seemed to disappear off the face of the earth lately, especially as I have been doing lots of exciting things and have so much to post! I am currently burried under a pile of books trying to do my dissertation. I hope to catch up on life starting next week!

PomPom

Whilst sitting in front of the fire over Christmas, I for some reason had the urge to make some pompom's. I'm not too sure why but I made several in different colours and sizes, before making a mega pompom the size of my head! Suggestions on what to do with them now would be appreciated!!

An extremely white Christmas

I spent the Christmas period in Scotland visiting my Mum and Sister. It was very cold and snowy, but extremely tranquil and relaxing! Here are a few very white snaps...

Unfortunately Something beginning with B has been a bit neglected lately. I have been extremely busy at Uni so all my focus has been on my other blog. So I have been doing lots still! Take a look...
