Anthropologie Trip
For my birthday last month my lovely work colleagues bought me an Anthropologie gift card, which in itself is the cutest little present. The card came inside a little book that you can fill with lists of likes and loves.
I'm no stranger to Anthropologie, I'd spent a lot of time in the past browsing their website, and even applied for a job there - but shamefully I'd never stepped foot inside. What a great excuse to go!
After 2 trips to the Kings Road store, wondering around a little overwhelmed as it's hard not to love EVERYTHING, I left with a real mixture of bits:
I couldn't resist this little jar with a chalkboard label. I have no idea what I'm putting in it, or what I'm writing on the label, but I'm sure I'll find something soon!
I bought the smallest version of this bowl, it's about 5cm big. Orange seems to be my favourite colour at the moment, and I thought this would make a cute tea-light holder.
Not only does this candle come in a cute reusable jar, but it smells lovely. I chose the 'Volcano' scent as I like exotic, fruity candles. I'll see how it burns!
Couldn't resist really!
I've not worn this yet, but I'm looking forward to it. Anthropologie's jewellery is all lovely, but a little out of my price range. This was a nice treat for myself, and something not for the home!
I will definitely visit a lot more, especially as it's on the way to work (kind of) and definitely want to explore the brand and the products more. I've heard amazing things about the huge Regent Street store, and I've still got a bit of money left on my gift card.

Looking forward to Spring!
Today has been such a lovely day, it really gets you excited about Spring approaching. I've found myself buying a weekly bunch of daffodils and getting too excited about Snowdrops sprouting in the common.
I think I'm especially excited as I have a garden again this year, yay! Having an outside space really does make such a difference, especially living in London.
I'm determined to do a bit of gardening and keep it looking nice, so expect to see lots of pictures of the garden in the future.

Crafty Christmas: Pottery Painting
I had a rather Crafty Christmas actually, from making badges out of my favourite left over wrapping paper to tie-dying socks (inspired by Kirstie)
My favourite was pottery painting, something me and my sister love to go and do at our favourite ceramics cafe in Farnham.

This time I decided to paint a little owl. I finallly got him back from the kiln today, and I'm really pleased with how it turned out. Colours and brushstrokes always look so different after being kilned, and I've had a few disasters in the past, but not this time!
(Yes, Meg decided to paint a Ninja Gecko - he also turned out great!)

Top Drawer Spring/Summer 2014 - Mibo and Miho
Hello and Happy New Year!
On Monday I did one of my favourite things and visited the Spring/Summer preview at Top Drawer with the lovely Polly.
It was only a short visit, but enough time to inspire us.
As per usual I fell in love with a lot of products, but I thought I would share a couple of my all time faves:
Mibo are a small company that create products with the cutest animal designs on them. My favourites are their greeting's cards that you can cut, fold and make your own little 3D animal. I recently bought a Fox and an Owl to make at home, I love them!
I also have the fox tea towel that you can cut up and make into a cushion - I'm looking forward to making that one crafternoon.
I have been selling these at work for a couple of years now, and they still remain one of my favourite products. I have one of the deer heads on my living room wall, it's a coated MDF that comes flat packed but slots all togather. What I love about seeing Miho at tradeshows is seeing the whole range of their products all together. There are so many different designs, sizes and some new additions to the collection such as bird houses, branches and even horse heads.

The Greats Awards 2013
Last week I was very lucky to be 1 of 12 from Oliver Bonas to be picked to attend The Greats Retail Awards at the Savoy Hotel.
The Greats are the only awards that celebrate gift retailing in the UK, and there were all sorts of businesses there from small independent retailers to department stores.
It was an amazing day with a champagne reception, 3 course meal, goody bags and we won an award! Oliver Bonas took home Best Lifestyle, Homewares and Gift Retailer, yay!
Here's some photos of us collecting our award and celebrating...
